DAY 1: CASABLANCA -
Today in the morning we visit Rabat, the capital of the kingdom. We do not miss Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower and then we depart towards Chefchaouen, in the Rif Mountains. Overnight in stay in a hotel/ raid..
DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN -
Today we will explore the blue medina of Chefchaouen. Then we depart towards Fes with a stop to visit visit Volubilis, the Roman Ruins, Moulay Idriss, the holy city of Morocco and Meknes. Arrive in Fes, and check into your hotel.
DAY 3: FES – IFRANE – ZIZ GORGES – ARFOUD – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we drive south towards The Sahara desert, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoying breathing the pure air that comes from the Cedar forests; also pause for having a whale of a time with Barbary apes. You will have also stops for to take pictures with splendid panoramic views. The lunch will be in Midelt, and then we continue via Ziz Gorges and palm groves of Tafilalet big oasis. Late afternoon you will go by camels to the bivouac in the middle of the dunes to pass the night under a traditional Berber tent.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES
After the sunrise, you will return to your hotel by camels for breakfast and shower. Then, we will drive to the dramatic TODRA GORGES passing by Rissani (an economic center of the region: you will visit the market an ALAOUITE historical monuments), then ERFOUD where you will visit the Marmar factory for the fabrication of the fossils. When you arrive at TODRA gorges, where you can have a walk along the river, but before we pause to relish the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. The Lunch will be in a restaurant under 600 feet high red cliff of the gorges, where many of rock climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Later we continue to Boumalene DADES. Check in at an inn in the Dades gorges.
DAY 5 : DADES GORGES – ROSE VALLEY – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE
A scenic drive awaits you as you drive through kalaa Magouna and the one thousands Kasbah road, the famous city for its roses and rose products, every year a rose festival is held in May, we continue to Sekoura oasis where we pause at the well preserved Kasbah of AMREDHIL, beautifully surrounded by palm plantations, before we carry on our drive to “Morocco Hollywood” OUARZAZATE and the photogenic Kasbah Ait Ben haddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and scene for many international movies nowadays (site registered on the list of the World heritage of UNESCO since 1987 and where many films are and still turned like: Lawrence of Arabia, the mummy, Gladiator, Asterix., the night will be in Ouarzazate in the hotel.
DAY 6: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
Today you will have departure to Marrakech, penetrating the High Atlas mountains Tichka pass (7269 feet altitude) and enjoying one of the most scenic drives in Morocco. Our Casablanca desert tour finish and we drop you at your hotel.
